Job Title: Scheduling Manager
Salary: $10.75/hr – $12.75/hr + Safety Bonus eligibility after initial training period
Status: Full-Time, 40hrs/week
Objective: Establishes, organizes, maintains, and records near and long term operational scheduling as well as operational data. This position successfully manages both local and remote team member activities in person, by phone, and other electronic methods.
As the primary point of contact for both our public and governmental client base, this position demands a personality representative of strong, positive customer service values.
- Familiarity with Apple desktop and mobile operating systems.
- Typing 60+ WPM
- Experience w/Microsoft Word & Excel
- Mobile device (smartphones/tablets) experience required
- B2B Web-based services technology (SaaS) experience required
Education and Training: High School diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred. English language skills (to include written) a must.
Experience: Previous driving experience preferred but not required. Customer service experience is required, preferably within a call-center setting. Demonstrated experience prioritizing customer demands within a dynamic environment is required.
Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations: 1st Aid, CPR, and bloodborne pathogens certifications are required. Any candidates not currently possessing the above must agree to attend trainings. In addition, the Scheduling Manager must possess a clean driving record and submit a current copy of their 5-year DMV report for review.
Supervision & Technical Responsibility: Indirectly supervises medical transportation drivers, their vehicles, and assignments. Assists in helping to maintain employee records in effort to identify actionable solutions in order to maintain compliance.
Maintains constant situational oversight and awareness and actively encourages a pro-safety environment. Assists with identifying problematic safety situations, constructs recommendations, and participates in shaping employee safety standards and policies.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, Scheduling Manager is regularly required to sit; utilize their hands; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The Scheduling Manager is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Scheduling Manager must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Even though this opening is for a Scheduling Manager, this position requires that they understand and are competent of all the duties required of our drivers. As a result, the Scheduling Manager must be able to negotiate a wheelchair, pushing, pulling, and shifting weights sometimes more than 50+ lbs.
Work Environment: The Scheduling Manager reports to our Albany, Oregon headquarters. While performing the duties of this job, the Scheduling Manager is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Mental Functions: While performing the duties of this job, the Scheduling Manager is regularly required to analyze, communicate, coordinate, compute, synthesize, evaluate and use interpersonal skills. The Scheduling Manager is frequently required to compare, compile and negotiate. The Scheduling Manager is occasionally required to copy and instruct.
