Are you an independent worker? Are you a safe and reliable driver? Then we are looking for you.

We are currently looking to hire several drivers between the Portland, Salem, Medford, and Newport regions. The ideal candidates must posses a valid Oregon Driver's license and have a minimum of 5 years driving history. If any portion of your five year driving history includes licensed time in another state you must provide that state's DMV record as well. Candidate must not have any events on their driving record that would disqualify them from company insurance.

Examples of such events may include:

  • license suspension and any moving violation in past three years;
  • more than two violations in past three years;
  • more that two accidents in the past three years;
  • more that three violations or accidents of any kind in past five years;
  • no serious violation in the past ten years.

Candidates must possess or be willing to obtain (within 6 months of hire date):

  • First Aid,
  • CPR
  • Defensive Driving Certificates

If you do not currently possess these certifications the employer may sponsor and pay for these trainings/certifications.  

Must follow employers dress code and have a neat and clean appearance. Must feel confident with basic computing tasks such as email and internet navigation. Additionally applicants must be proficient with mobile devices (GPS, smartphones, tablets) or willing to learn.

Must speak and read English well enough to fulfill job duties (converse with the general public; understand and obey traffic signs and signals; write legibly to make entries on reports and records; efficiently enter electronic data on an english keyboard).

Must pass pre employment drug screen, as well as consent to ongoing random testing.

Consent to future DMV record checks as well as criminal background checks (fingerprinted) is also required.

DUTIES: Our drivers safely and efficiently transport non-emergency medical clients to and from appointments. Transports can include ambulatory (walking), wheelchair or stretcher clients. Must be physically able to maneuver wheelchairs and assist clients into and out of the vehicle as well as negotiate objects and obstacles within a large vehicle.

In addition, our employees are required to maintain accurate, complete, and timely records of all their work assignments. The ideal candidates will be comfortable performing basic function checks on their company-assigned vehicle. 

All driving personnel are issued all necessary equipment. This will include: 

  • Company Vehicle & Accessories

  • Mobile Computing Device
  • Company Fuel Card

 NOTE: We are currently hiring for multiple positions within each of our operating regions

Our employees can expect to work various hours during the day with possible early morning, afternoon and evening transports. Most shifts are 35-40 hours per work. This is a full time position.

*Please Note: All DMV records must be dated within two weeks (14 days) of your application date. Candidates who submit records outside of this timeframe will be required to produce another copy. Worse yet, candidates may not be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Wages: $9.25 to $12.00 per Hour, Depending On Experience, qualifications, certifications, and location
